How It All Began
Every business has a beginning. Ours started with a simple idea: women deserved a better hair removal experience.
In 2011, Sweetie's Sugar Co. became Dallas' first studio dedicated exclusively to sugaring. At a time when waxing was the norm, founder Erin Cox introduced a gentler approach that focused not only on beautiful results but also on education, comfort, and helping women feel confident in their own skin.
What started as one woman's vision quickly grew into something much bigger—a community of women who trusted Sweetie's not just for smooth skin, but for the experience of being cared for.
Over the years, one thing has never changed: our commitment to specializing in one thing and doing it exceptionally well. Every appointment is built on expert technique, personalized care, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel comfortable, respected, and completely at ease.
Today, Sweetie's continues to honor the foundation it was built on while looking ahead to the future. Although ownership has changed, the heart of Sweetie's remains the same: creating a welcoming place where women can experience the very best in intimate sugaring.

A Note From The Founder
Hey there! I am Erin Cox, the founder of Sweetie’s, and I am delighted to share my passion for skincare and sugaring with you. Skincare is not just a job, it’s a way of life. I have always been fascinated by the science behind beauty and have spent countless hours researching and experimenting with different techniques and products. Over time, I became particularly drawn to the art of sugaring, a more gentle form of hair removal that is kinder to the skin.
It was this passion for sugaring that prompted me to open Sweetie’s in 2011. I wanted to create a space where women could feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of their skin type, hair texture or body shape. I believe that sugaring is a game-changer for many women who struggle with traditional waxing methods or who are simply looking for a more natural and gentle approach to hair removal.
As one of the first sugaring professionals in the DFW metroplex, I was excited to introduce this innovative technique to a wider audience. It wasn’t long before Sweetie’s became a vibrant community of women who shared my love for sugaring and my commitment to providing the best possible client experience.
At Sweetie’s, every esthetician is dedicated to exclusively sugaring, which means we are experts in our craft. We take the time to listen and understand each client’s unique needs and preferences; we work hard to create a warm and welcoming environment to put you at ease. Our goal is to help every client feel confident and beautiful when they leave our salon.
Over the years, and looking forward, Sweetie’s has and will continue to evolve and grow; but our emphasis on the client will remain constant. The Story Continues
In 2023, Sweetie's entered its next chapter when longtime client and sugarist Andrea became the new owner. Having first experienced Sweetie's as a client herself, Andrea is honored to continue the legacy Erin created while carrying the business forward with the same commitment to exceptional care, education, and a welcoming experience for every woman who walks through the door.
